Medical Assistant Midwest City, OK
Friday 8 am to 5 pm Temp to Perm
Job Summary :
- We are hiring full-time Medical Assistants for our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine department.
- The Medical Assistant is responsible for vitals, injections, and basic triage and should be able to assist in
- minor procedures. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology,
- good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written / verbal communication
- Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.
- Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies.
- Operate x-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests.
Skills :
- Will need to have at least one year of experience working as an MA in a clinic setting. Benefits :
