We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Regional Director of Operations in Northern California. Agemark Senior Living has been recognized as Great Places to Work by FORTUNE Magazine in Aging Services.

Position Overview : As a Regional Director of Operations, you will oversee and enhance the operations of multiple properties within your region.

Your role will encompass fiscal management, process improvement, staff coaching, facilities management, compliance with state regulations, and driving overall success for each property.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to properties, aligning with the company's mission and core values.
  • Ensure properties meet and exceed sales, profitability, and business objectives.
  • Administer corrective actions when necessary and oversee process effectiveness.
  • Deliver timely, comprehensive reports on regional operations.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Mentor and coach property leaders to foster a results-driven, accountable environment.
  • Adapt communication and service delivery to meet the unique needs of each community.
  • Represent the company in interactions with clients, investors, and business partners.
  • Drive success in staff and customer satisfaction, financial health, occupancy, and compliance.
  • Travel to properties quarterly or as needed, support new property acquisitions, and act as Interim Director when required.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of new Directors and community leaders.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and senior leadership, anticipating future needs and opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Health, Geriatrics, or a related field.
  • RCFE certification required.
  • At least 5 years in a management role within the senior housing industry.
  • Experience managing multi-tiered staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations, including OSHA and fire codes.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in English communication and computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and information sharing.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, with up to 75% travel.
