We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.

This is a permanent position that involves ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of our production and facility equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding, exceptional mechanical and electrical skills, and a proven track record in repairing and preventive maintenance.

Knowledge of welding is an added advantage. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct regular inspections of the facility, machinery, and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

2. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as replacing parts, installing machinery, and doing preventive maintenance.

3. Respond to breakdowns and system failures and repair them in a timely and effective manner.

4. Develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent potential equipment failures.

5. Use a range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair production machinery and equipment.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

7. Collaborate with other team members to optimize performance and achieve the company's objectives.

8. Document all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference.

9. Conduct training sessions for other staff members on the correct operation of equipment.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.

2. Strong technical understanding and proficiency in mechanical and electrical principles.

3. Proven experience in repairing and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment.

4. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, multimeters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

5. Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

6. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus.

7. Excellent physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, bending, or standing for long periods.

8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

11. Relevant certification from a technical school will be an advantage.

12. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
