Salary / Hourly Rate :
$90k
Position Overview :
As the Construction Accountant, you would oversee and handle all accounting-related activities with new construction projects being developed.
The Construction Accountant will assist with some bookkeeping and HR-related tasks and analyze all AP invoices.
Responsibilities of the Construction Accountant :
- Review all accounting related to new construction projects.
- Assist with job costing as the Construction accountant.
- Legal documents review.
- Assist with work in progress (WIP).
- Take charge of journal entries and preparing financial statements.
- Analyze financials.
- Assist with insurance coverage management.
- Assist with fixed assets and developments.
Qualifications for the Construction Accountant :
- Knowledge of Construction software.
- Has vast knowledge of accounting related to construction projects.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
