About The Position
Job Title : CT / X-ray Technologist Job Specialty : General Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 hours, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred License : Must have an active state license Certifications : - AHA BLS- ARRT-CT- ARRT-R Must-Have : Strong IV skills Job Description : Dual modality in CT and X-ray is required.
- Perform CT studies including heads, abdomen, pelvis, angiography, and extremities.- Conduct routine X-ray exams such as chest and portable exams.
- Expected to perform up to 15 studies per day, with a maximum of 22, although this is rare.- Use EMR / Equipment such as EPIC and Fuji PACS, with PACS Visage being preferred.
- Operate CT units by GE and X-ray units by Philips.- Participate as a backup on-call one weekend per month and fill in for open shifts as needed, with a 45-minute call response time.
- Required to work some holidays, encompassing 2 major and 1 minor holiday.- Specific orientation provided for the department.
This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
