Aviation Civil Project Manager
Who you are :
You have a bachelors or masters degree incivil / transportation engineering or a related field and at least 12years of experience with 4 years of relevant experience in asupervisory capacity.
Youre a licensed professional engineer and / orhave a PMP certification.
- You know theaviation industry standard practices codes and practices and arefamiliar with permitting for projects.
- Youreproficient with business and engineering applications. MicrosoftOffice AutoCAD and / or Microstation are a must. Experience withCivil 3D or Geopak is a plus.
- Youre a strongcommunicator with excellent teamwork and leadershipskills.
- You are a multitasker with strongresearch and problemsolving skills and an enviable attention todetail.
- Youre a people person with the abilityto interface and collaborate effectively with team members. Yourecomfortable working independently or with others.
WHAT YOULLDD
Youll design and reviewspecific project components which include design efforts related toairport and airfield design grading drainage pavement roadwaydesign stormwater management and detention and utilities.
You willaccomplish these assignments through the application of standardengineering practices and techniques.
- Youlloversee and review the work performed by others in the preparationof various project documents which can include reports contractplans specifications supporting documents and permitapplications.
- Youll work on developing projectscopes budgets and schedules and manage projects to a high qualitywithin the project scope schedule budget.
- Youll prepare project invoices and progress reports perthe clients requirements.
- Youll developmarketing materials and proposals including RFPs RFQs andSOQs.
- Youll manage staff and subconsultantsworking on projects & mentor and train other project staffmembers.
- Youll meet with clients regulatorsand agencies to develop strong professionalrelationships.
- Youll assist in the developmentof new business via client meetings and participation inpromotional activities. Youll also work alongside thedepartment / group manager to market Client services to existing andpotential clients.
