TITLE : Specialty ENT Clinic RN
DEPARTMENT : Grant Regional Community Specialty Clinic
POSITION STATUS / HOURS : Part-time 0.675 FTE (54 hours / pay period).
Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Position is 3 days per week. Days off are flexible to meet the needs of the department.

JOB SUMMARY :
The Specialty Clinic RN will work with our ENT provider, Dr. Chilson in the specialty clinic, along with being a patient liaison for Dr. Chilson's surgical patients. Work schedule subject to change to meet the needs of the clinic / patients.
ESSENTIAL TASKS / DUTIES :
The RN will work in the Grant Regional Specialty ENT Clinic and will :
- Work with Dr. Chilson, RN, LPN, CMA and registration staff in a pod nursing environment
- Room patients, prepare for visit, and assist Dr. Chilson with patient care, visit, and flow
- Perform tasks such as specimen collection / testing / recording of results / labeling, cultures, etc.
- Assist, prepare, and administer medications by all routes excluding intravenous infusion, as directed
- Assist with and knowledge of surgical technique and set up surgical tray assist with minor office surgeries
- Office skills : answer phone, take / return accurate messages; phone prescriptions to pharmacy, telephone lab / test results to patient
- Obtain insurance authorizations
- Work with other health care providers to assist in the provision of delegated aspects of patient care
- Use basic communication skills to enhance a patient's expression of needs
- Organize, within the specified work period, those delegated aspects of care for which he / she is accountable
- Ensure patient satisfaction by providing kind, attentive and conscientious care
- Assist with other duties as time permits
QUALIFICATIONS :
Current RN License in the state of Wisconsin.Prior clinic experience working directly with Otolaryngology / surgeons required.Knowledge of ENT terms, procedures, and equipment required.CPR certification is required (or completed within 60 days of hire).In addition, the candidate must exhibit a professional manner, display strong decision-making skills within his / her scope of practice, demonstrate good organizational skills, be flexible and display strong interpersonal skills.HOW TO APPLY :
