Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing inquiries, interpreting contracts, and facilitating conflict resolution
- Provide comprehensive information to current and prospective employees regarding policies, job roles, benefits, and advancement opportunities
- Ensure accurate documentation of personnel changes and maintain updated employee files
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with EEO, ERISA, and Wage & Hour regulations
- Oversee employee complaint processes to uphold fairness and consistency
- Manage all aspects of the staffing process, including pre-employment testing, interviews, and reference checks
- Coordinate new employee orientation programs
- Handle payroll processing and address benefit-related issues
- Communicate and implement policies and procedures aligning with company objectives
- Collaborate with Division HR on succession planning and talent acquisition strategies
- Conduct employee training sessions on benefits enrollment, harassment prevention, customer service, and related topics
- Analyze turnover and compensation data for corporate reporting
- Uphold employee confidentiality and respond to information requests
- Adhere to safety and company regulations while performing duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 3-5 years of HR generalist experience; professional HR certification preferred
- Prior experience in payroll administration is essential
- Familiarity with Ulti-Pro software is advantageous
- Proficient knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship-building
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
