Your Next Adventure : Director of Product and Technology

Reporting To : Chief Executive Officer

Classification : Regular, Full-Time, Exempt

Position Overview :

The Director of Product and Technology at JumpstartMD will lead the strategy, development, and scaling of our technology platforms, including our mobile app, AI-driven agents (and other AI applications), and internal systems for the care team.

This role will be responsible for driving product innovation, enhancing user experiences, improving member retention, and ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports the growth of the company.

The Director will collaborate across teams clinical, operations, marketing, and leadership while leading a technology team to drive business results and achieve our vision of becoming a national leader in health optimization.

Who You Are :

This role is strategic and execution-focused (i.e. hands on), requiring a visionary leader with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

The position will guide and support the Engineering Manager, Product Managers, and AI development to meet business goals and foster innovation.

• Define and execute the product strategy for JumpstartMD’s mobile app, AI agent (Rumi), and care team systems.
• Lead end-to-end product development from concept to deployment, including product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and timelines.
• Own and drive the technology roadmap aligned with business goals, ensuring all initiatives enhance customer and care team experiences.

AI & Mobile App Leadership :

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve JumpstartMD’s mobile app and AI agent capabilities to deliver a seamless, personalized, and engaging user experience.
• Lead the innovation of AI applications, integrating them into the care pathways to drive better member engagement, retention, and outcomes.
• Enhance the mobile app’s functionality to improve member onboarding, engagement, and data insights while offering a scalable, secure platform.

Care Team Systems :

• Work closely with clinical and operations teams to optimize internal care management systems that drive operational efficiency and improve member outcomes.
• Ensure seamless integration of technology solutions with clinical and marketing workflows, enabling JumpstartMD clinicians and health coaches to deliver high-touch, personalized care.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication :

• Act as the primary point of contact for all product and technology initiatives, communicating progress and roadmaps to the leadership team, board members, and investors.
• Partner with marketing, sales, clinical, and operational teams to ensure all products and systems align with company objectives and deliver value to both members and the care team.

Qualifications :

• 8+ years of experience in product management, software development, or technology leadership roles, with a proven track record in health tech or wellness industries preferred.
• Experience leading the development and scaling of mobile apps and / or AI applications in customer-facing environments.
• Strong technical background with experience in software development, product lifecycle management, AI applications, and system integration.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to build technology solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams with a focus on innovation, results, and accountability.
• Passionate about health, wellness, and leveraging technology to empower better health outcomes.

The pay range for this role is :

135,000 - 150,000 USD per year (Remote - Burlingame, US)
