Job Responsibilities / Tasks
Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes customer service provided by team members, offering reminders, training, and encouragement.
- Greets customers and clinic patients, assisting with products and services.
- Models best practices in customer service for team members.
- Resolves customer complaints and responds to special needs.
Operations
- Supervises store and pharmacy operations, including shift changes and scheduling.
- Oversees financial controls including register counts, bank transactions, and bookkeeping.
- Implements merchandising plans and manages inventory trends.
- Ensures store cleanliness and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Ensures staff are knowledgeable about technology systems.
Daily Planning and Execution
Assigns daily responsibilities and sets expectations for team members.
Business Performance Management
- Analyzes performance data to develop action plans for sales and cost control.
- Reviews KPIs and asset protection data, implementing plans to reduce loss.
Business Planning
- Identifies sales opportunities for store and pharmacy growth.
- Manages inventory levels and anticipates seasonal changes.
People and Performance Management
- Manages team member performance, providing feedback and recognition.
- Ensures timely completion of training programs and manages hiring decisions.
- Promotes teamwork and maintains open communication.
Training and Personal Development
- Participates in training to improve skills and productivity.
- Obtains necessary pharmacy technician registration / licensure as required by state law.
Communications
- Acts as liaison between district, corporate, and store for effective communication.
- Conducts community outreach and assists in planning events.

External Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience, or High School Diploma / GED and 5 years retail management experience.
- Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state, or pharmacy assistant in WA state.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- PTCB or ExCPT Certification.
- Three years retail management experience, including supervising others.
