Looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our team part-time at the Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Washington D.

C. If you have a passion for inspiring and guiding future talents, this role is perfect for you. Your responsibilities will include providing mentorship, giving advice, and coordinating educational programs to empower the youth in our community.

Play a vital role in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of our young leaders. This position offers competitive hourly wages starting at $22 and going up to $25, giving you the opportunity to influence the growth, resilience, and success of young individuals in a supportive and lively environment.

Openings available with hourly rates ranging from $22 to $25. Actively looking for candidates for various locations in the Metropolitan Washington D.

C. area and the Baltimore metropolitan area. Please indicate your preference for Baltimore or Washington D.C. when applying.

Responsibilities :

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to educational standards in Washington D.C.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to establish a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design a cohesive and enriching academic journey for students in Washington D.C.
  • Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development.

Qualifications :

  • The role of Performing Art Instructor in Washington D.C. requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must for effectively engaging with students and team members.
  • Proficiency in GSuite is essential, and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems is required.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings, is crucial for this position.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle are mandatory.
  • Completing the Google Docs form sent via email before the initial interview is a critical step for the application to be considered valid.
