Job Description :
- 7-10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer / Security Engineer with Top Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Everfox (formally Forcepoint Federal)
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network appliances.
- Detailed understanding of cyber security methodologies
- Conduct network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and optimal network performance.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate network requirements into scalable and efficient network designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers and support teams.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
- Experience with network design and architecture, including high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Infoblox or other IP address management (IPAM) solutions.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent will be highly beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
