What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the robotics and drone delivery industries.
• Oversee the entire logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Manage and optimize the company's assets, including equipment, facilities, and inventory.
• Develop and implement asset tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate asset performance and condition.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to promote professional growth and development.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to senior management.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record in logistics, maintenance, asset management, and vendor coordination.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Frequently operate small office equipment such as a computer, tablet, and copier / printer, telephone. Work is performed in and out of an office setting.

Heavy lifting, pushing of equipment. The ability to drive and operate large vehicles (food trucks, moving vans, delivery vans).

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed indoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift. Some tasks may be required to be performed outdoors.
