About The Position
Job Title : Radiation Therapist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Radiation Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 1 year required License : California State License Required Certifications : BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T) (Radiation Therapy) Must-Have : ARIA Skillset required, EPIC preferred, Skill with Varian 21 EX / iX equipment required Job Description : Begin as soon as possible after acceptance.
- Handle a daily caseload of approximately 25 patients per day.- No requirement to float between units.- Not required to be on-call.
- Expect to float between facilities within the state as needed.- Facilities will provide necessary communication devices.
- Non-billable orientation of 40 hours.- Modules completed pre-start and annually, average 16 hours.- Understand usage of EPIC charting system.
- Clinic scrubs will be provided.Check for adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies, with medical and religious exemptions allowed.
Flu vaccine requirements are unspecified. Completion of modules is self-reported and recorded in transcripts.
