Elementary Special Education Teacher

Empowerment Academy Charter School is hiring a Special Education (inclusion) Teacher for the 2024 / 2025 School Year and beyond! We are ALSO hiring a push-in / pull-out Special Education Teacher to work with lower elementary students.

Teachers that hold a certificate in Special Education are eligible for a $3,000 bonus!

Base Salary SY24 / 25 : $65,000- $85,000

Potential Earnings : $72,000 - $92,000 after Bonuses and Stipends.

• High-quality formative assessments, aligned with the curriculum, that help identify when students have not achieved mastery of a skill, concept, or knowledge item; and
• Full-time reading and math specialists who tutor students struggling to master an essential skill, and counselors and social workers who help students struggling with non-academic problems.

Requirements

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates MUST either hold a New Jersey Department of Education CE, CEAS, Limited CE or Standard Certificate in Elementary Education (K-6) to be an Elementary School Teacher with us.

As this role is for the Special Education teacher in an ICT Classroom, you must ALSO have K-12 Special Education certification.
