Description
Reports to : Executive Director
This is a hourly position, generally Monday to Friday 2 : 00 to 6 : 00 p.m. School vacation weeks and summer schedule may require additional hours.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain a safe, positive physical space for youth;
- Ensure that all members complete a membership application;
- Identify, create and implement quality programming and curriculum for the youth development programs;
- Ensure that a variety of sports and recreational and educational programs are planned and implemented;
- Supervise youth athletic programs and teams;
- Assist with identifying new programs that are needed;
- Ensure that program information is available to youth members, parents, and the community.
- Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma. Associates degree preferred but will accept
- two + years of work experience in the field of youth or child services.
- Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
