We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and expertise in managing financial records and supporting audit processes. Responsibilities :

  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain financial records.
  • Create and manage journal entries to ensure proper accounting practices.
  • Process accounts payable by entering invoices and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Support the team during audits by managing workflow and providing necessary documentation.
  • Utilize FundEZ software to maintain general ledger records.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure balanced accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure organized and reliable bookkeeping processes.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to analyze and report financial data.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with general ledger systems, particularly FundEZ.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other Office tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
