Siemens Energy's Alpharetta Electrical Engineering division is on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer brimming with curiosity and expertise in power electronics, power generation, and power transmission.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of application engineering design, responsible for crafting Excitation systems, Starting Frequency Converters, and protection systems! From conceptualization to finalization, you'll be instrumental in ensuring flawless power generation applications. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead projects from initiation to the timely delivery of turnover documents with efficiency.
- Collaborate with both internal and external customers, alongside specialized engineers from diverse fields, to ensure project completion.
- Occasionally travel to power-generating facilities for data collection on existing systems.
- Offer assistance to customers concerning various types of excitation equipment.
- Deliver crucial support and training to fellow specialist Engineers.
- Engage in various tasks within the development team, providing exposure to different facets of the business.
- Act as the subject matter specialist for the Hotline Team, addressing related tickets and providing support.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required, with coursework or professional background in power transmission, power generation, or electrical machines.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power generation, oil refinery, or similar industrial settings.
- You have a proven track record to work independently and produce high-quality results within set deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills and logical problem-solving approach.

- The expectation of at least 30% travel.
