INTERN - SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Application Deadline : December 1, 2025

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :

  • Contribute to Nintendo's Consumer Service Channel Experience team to develop an internal reporting tool to provide business insights and performance, helping to shape future strategies
  • Provide business stakeholders with meaningful data views by extracting and transforming key information
  • Design a user-friendly desktop interface for generating customized reports based on data inputs
  • Develop a component that gives users the ability to save their generated report output in Excel

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS :

  • 3.0+ GPA
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2026 and June 2027
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with Rust programming language
  • Familiar with modern front-end framework (e.g., React)
  • Experience developing desktop graphical user interface (GUI) applications preferred, with a strong preference for the Tauri framework
  • Interest in creating compelling and informative data visualizations
  • Familiar with charting libraries, such as Plotly.js preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June 15 - August 21
  • A completed Internship Questionnaire following application
  • This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

    This internship includes a base pay rate of $30 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k).
