Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Business Analyst Time and Attendance Systems with a major organization in Miami, FL.
Part-time, 20 - 25 / hrs per week. Mostly remote, but must be local to Miami as needed for onsite meetings.

Part-time intermediate professional level role to work with business partners within one business function to align technology solutions with business strategies.
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of a business area to resolve problems on an ongoing basis. Will provide support on several moderately complex business processes.
Will work on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader. May coach more junior staff.
Responsibilities :
- Analyzing requirements of Time and Attendance Systems enhancements from gathering time data, to approvals, corrections, reporting, and interfacing to M-DCPS SAP ERP Payroll System.
- Lead meetings and hold workshops to gather needed information.
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
- Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology and processes.
- Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
- Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.
- May make recommendations for buy vs. build decision.
Qualifications :
- Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience;
- Access, SQL; possess a highly analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with expertise in the supported business unit(s), as well as an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities;
possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
Requires 3 to 5 years of relevant technical or business work experience, including the area of Time and Attendance.
