Description
Summary : Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 32 private beds, sometimes we have patients with Lumbar drains that require Q1 hour checks, majority of patient population are post-op back surgery (multiple levels), no ventilated patients.
PCA & ketamine drips are common, and we also take heparin, insulin, cardizem (don't titrate), & amiodarone (don't titrate) drips. Frequent pain meds given.
This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team.
He / She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
