Responsibilities :

• Build elegant and scalable capabilities using Python andGolang for our software delivery platforms with a strong focus onthe developer experience engineering excellence and softwarecraftsmanship.
• Automate routine or repetitivetasks with highquality and welltested scripts / tooling.
• Practice a You Build It You Own It philosophy whiledemonstrating empathy for other software engineers and offeringsolutions when issues occur in our tools (i.

e. troubleshootingfailed builds diagnosing issues in Dev QA or Prodenvironments).

• Bring a passion to stay on topof tech trends experiment with and learn new technologiesparticipate in internal & external technology communities andmentor other engineers.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in computer scienceEngineering or Information Technology or equivalent Militaryexperience.
• Professional experience as asoftware developer using testdriven development to write your codeusing Python Golang and building it using a CI / CD pipeline withmaintainability and extensibility in mind.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools(Terraform or CloudFormation) to build multitier infrastructurestacks in the Cloud.
• Experience working withbuild tools and container runtimes (Jenkins Docker).
• Experience with one or more additional components in thefull stack of an application such as diagnosing networking issuesfor distributed systems in the cloud application performancemonitoring or advanced knowledge of various utilities for Linuxtroubleshooting.
• Handson experience usingPython or Golang for API development that automate manual tasks orincrease the productivity of other product teams at an enterprisescale.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• At least 5 years combined experience in Python orGolang.
• Familiarity with AWS includingprofessional experience building configuring and deployingmissioncritical applications using EC2 RDS S3 ECS and Lambda withresiliency and scalability in mind.
• Familiarity with database design and programmingincluding relational modeling index definition and SQL.
• Experience working in an Agile environment managing yourown workload and tasks effectively through JIRA
• Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
