Responsibilities
- Position Overview : As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in the company's financial operations by overseeing the financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting functions.
- You will collaborate closely with various departments and directors to ensure accurate financial data, insightful reporting, and effective budget management.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather budget input, create budget proposals, and monitor budget performance throughout the fiscal year.
- Monitor and assess variances between actual financial results and budgeted figures, investigating discrepancies and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Participate in the development of financial strategies and initiatives to optimize the firm's financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, statutory reporting standards, and internal policies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge-sharing.
