Job Title : Quality & Compliance Supervisor

Reports to : Director Technical Services

Department : Plant Management

FLSA : Exempt (not eligible for overtime)

Location : Breinigsville, PA - ON SITE

THIS JOB IS ONSITE LOCATED IN BREINIGSVILLE, PA.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST PASS A PRE EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.

The QC Supervisor will have a proven track record of leading people and controlling processes performed i alongside the production process.

They will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly and generate a consistent output of products that meet the quality standards of Trinity Glass and the expectations of the customer.

The Quality & Compliance Supervisor shall demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills along with strong observation, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills.

They will regularly collaborate with other supervisors in response to customer expectations and daily production demands.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • Supervise quality organization activities and job organization.
  • Ensure the timekeeping system is current.
  • Ensure proper quality coverage in place.
  • Deal with daily employee issues such as disciplinary actions and complaints.
  • Set the example for quality employees. Do the right thing.
  • Administer disciplinary action, when necessary, in accordance with the Trinity Employee Handbook

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Gain a clear understanding of the customer’s needs and requirements communicate / train the quality and production teams.
  • Collaborate with supervisors on ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
  • Verify, approve, and reject the quality of final output.
  • Keep accurate documentation.
  • Facilitate on the spot trouble-shooting and improvement sessions, diagnosing problems and implementing immediate actions to address areas in need of improvement

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Previous experience in quality, production, or manufacturing is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to operate in an ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate employees.

Education and Experience :

  • Previous experience in manufacturing planning
  • Familiarity with ASQ a plus
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Solid communication skills
  • Smooth transitions from teamwork to independent work environments
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing organization
