Location : Lake County, IL USA

Compensation : $70.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance. Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $161,500.00

Technical Program Manager required for leading and delivering end to end Business Intelligence and Datawarehouse / Data Analytics solutions.

This role would require working with our cross-functional teams spread across the globe, providing technical guidance to teams and project managers.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with a focus on building high performing teams, optimizing processes and delivering successful results.

Works well with people at all levels of the organization, including stakeholders, customers, and outside vendors. An exceptional leader who operates efficiently and creatively meets critical deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Primary Requirements :

  • Work with a cross-functional team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers to deliver data and integration programs / projects in a matrix organization.
  • Create project charter and scope statement, create and maintain project plans, create and maintain RACI.
  • Run daily stand-up meetings to closely monitor progress and performance against project plan, take timely action, resolve issues, and avoid delays.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the SDLC process (Planning, Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Testing, UAT, Deployment and Hypercare Support) for each production release from an implementation and documentation perspective.
  • Manage projects in Clarity Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) leveraging agile mindset and managing via Jira, Kanban, Scrum, and Azure DevOps, adhering to GxP processes.
  • Manage risks / issues, project budget and monthly financial reporting.
  • Provide weekly status updates to management on programs / projects and help generate demand and delivery key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Successfully coordinate and execute multitude of interrelated IT project activities within tight budgetary constraints while providing actionable insights to leadership and proactively adapting to changing priorities.
  • Assign work assignments to team members and directs activities, providing technical guidance and completing individual tasks as needed.
  • Oversee feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised projects / programs.
  • Work with IT senior management, product owners, business managers and business analysts and lead the effort to evaluate user requests and determine solutions to business problems.
  • Responsible for liaison between IT and Operations team to drive closure to any urgent on demand issues.

Required Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position.
  • 4 years bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment.
  • Exhibit spirit of collaboration and transparent communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and program / project management software (MS Project, Clarity, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.) is required.
  • Prior pharma industry experience is preferable, not required.
  • Prior AbbVie experience is a strong advantage.
