previous home health experience preferred License : Licensure for state of practice is required Certifications : BLS / CPR Must-Have : Proficiency in Oasis Start of Care Assessments Job Description : Administer medications and treatments to assigned clients.
- Assess clients to establish their plan of care and reevaluate to determine continued eligibility for services.- Provide care in accordance with agency policy, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate home care aides.- Accompany home care aides on supervisory visits with clients.- Safeguard clients' property and maintain their self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Comply with HIPAA guidelines.- Provide clients with opportunities for independence and choice consistent with their care plans.
- Ensure physicians' orders are processed and that physicians are notified in a timely manner.- Direct and document care provided to clients.
- Receive and share information; observe and report clients' conditions to appropriate staff.- Explain procedures before and during care.
- Direct and assist with client, family, or significant other education.- Utilize appropriate bag techniques.- Report signs and symptoms of client infections to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Comply with all related laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.- Maintain a moderate noise level work environment.
- Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 35 lbs.- Travel frequently as per business needs, with a driving radius of 40 miles.
- Handle 5-6 cases per day; no coverage of skilled nursing facilities required.- Mileage and drive time are billable. Additional Information : This position involves supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training employees;
