Electrician

Falcon Structures is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and energetic Electrician with a passion for learning. Falcon Structures’ Electricians perform electrical tasks required in the modification of shipping container-based structures.

Electricians will work with their team members to assure tasks are completed safely, in a timely fashion, with high quality.

At times this position may assist with painting, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and general clean-up. Benefits to working at Falcon include steady work when its sunny, stormy, or snowy! You come to the same facility each day, no driving around town to different job sites.

We provide your tools. You will work with a diverse group of individuals and get to work on interesting projects.

Work Schedule is 7am - 3 : 45 pm M-F with overtime likely

Hourly Pay $20 - $25 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Connect receptacles and light switches
• Connect MC wire to panel.
• Install lights.
• Connect receptacles and light switches.
• Knows how to install low voltage wiring.
• Bends pipe
• Runs wire through pipes
• Runs 3-way setups
• Runs electrical to disconnect
• Installs AC
• Reviews shop drawings
• Maintains shop equipment.
• Follows Falcon Structures’ policies & procedures, health & safety standards and complies with building codes.
• Attends monthly safety classes.
• Charges to correct projects.
• Helps teach less experienced team members.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities :

• 4-7 years of experience
• Knows all color codes.
• Good craftsman, able to perform quality finish work.
• Knows how to read shop drawings.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Uses critical thinking and can troubleshoot.
• Must be safety conscience.
• Has a learning mindset.
• Flexible, friendly, able to collaborate with and coach others, and work on a team.
• Ability to use critical thinking in order to learn troubleshooting.
