About The Position
Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Job Specialty : Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : New graduates are welcome;
preferred experience in SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) License : Must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : - Resume - License verification - COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours prior Job Description : Assist in physical therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Work with patients to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities.- Implement treatment plans designed to help achieve patient goals.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team.- Provide support and education to patients and family members.
- Adapt techniques to meet the needs and abilities of each individual patient.- SNF experience is preferred but not required.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
