The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Representative is responsible for the implementation and administration of the corporate safety program at the company, trend analysis and all reporting activities.
Ensure the behavior of the crew is in accordance with company safety culture. Understands the lagging and leading safety indicators and promotes a philosophy that achieves established goals.
Education and Experience : -At least 5 years previous construction safety experience required-Semiconductor projects experience preferred-Previous mechanical experience preferred-Current OSHA 500 Certification (Train the Trainer course) strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities : -Ability to recognize and correct safety-related hazards and targeted safety trends-Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing-Ability to interpret and apply OSHA standards-Proficient in MS Windows / Office programs-Ability to work long hours and travel (local)-Working knowledge of construction practices-Ability to work as a team member
