Who are we?
We are a growing US based dental practice with a staff of 10-20 people looking for a friendly, positive, solution-oriented Customer Service & Insurance Claims Coordinator who will deliver a great experience for our patients.
Where is the role?
In Lakeville and Eden Prairie, MN
What are the hours (in Central Standard Time)?
Monday 7am-4pm CST
Tuesday 7am-4pm CST
Wednesday 7am-4pm CST
Thursday 7am-4pm CST
How many hours is it?
It is about 30-40 hr per week on average, but there is flexibility if desired
What are the responsibilities?
Clinical duties
- Patient preparation : Greet patients, show them to their exam rooms, and prepare them for procedures and surgeries
- Assisting dentists : Hand instruments to dentists during procedures, suction excess saliva, and help manage dental emergencies
- Sterilization : Sterilize instruments and equipment according to regulations
- Lab tasks : Make dental impressions, prepare materials for crowns, and complete other lab tasks under a dentist's supervision
- X-rays : Take ordered radiographs and process them
- Post-procedure care : Clean up after procedures and communicate instructions to patients
Administrative duties
- Scheduling : Schedule appointments
- Billing and payments : Handle billing and payments, checking out patients when needed
- Supplies : restock rooms
- Records : Maintain accurate patient records
- Education : Educate patients on oral health and proper oral hygiene practices
