Certification Details
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
- BLS - Basic Life Support required.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for certain units.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for specific units.
- Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain positions.
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement required annually.
- State License 1 Verification required within 30 days of start.
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) required.
- NIH Stroke Certification required for specific units.
- Medication Test / Pharmacology Competency Exam required for all RN / LVN candidates.
- Competency Exam Unit-Specific required.
- Dysrhythmia / EKG Competency Exam required for all RNs within 1 year of start.
Job Details
- Minimum 5 years of overall OR experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Must be competent to circulate and scrub
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and OR protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Information
- 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours per week.
- Shifts will be scheduled between 6 : 30 AM and 11 : 00 PM.

- Residency Declaration Form required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
- Check UD / Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
- AHA only (Instructor / Provider and RQI acceptable). Letter of completion not acceptable.
- Travelers can renew ACLS, BLS, PALS at the facility.
