GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing Procurement , IT Operations , and SAP / Power-BI Expertise to ensure compliance, efficiency, and resilience across Petrobras America Inc. operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Procurement

  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations, as well as adherence to Petrobras headquarters' policies and procedures.
  • Review and develop Petrobras America Inc. (PAI) supply chain standards to comply with current business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Forecast purchasing needs of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that are cost-effective and align with company goals.
  • Conduct contracting process for goods and services.
  • Manage the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance evaluation, the procure-to-pay cycle, Purchase Order, and Invoice management.
  • Manage procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Track and analyze procurement spending to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as standardization and consolidation of suppliers.
  • Report on procurement activities and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Supports PAI Corporate internal and external audit processes.

2. Information and Technology (IT)

  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations, as well as adherence to Petrobras headquarters' policies and procedures.
  • Review and develop PAI IT strategic plan and standards to comply with current business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure (e.g., networks, servers, databases, user terminals, applications, and IoTs).
  • Implement cyber security via a multi-layered approach including identification of the organization's critical assets and potential cyber threats, applying technical safeguards (network security, system updates and access controls), and ongoing monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure IT resilience to maintain operability in case of disruptions :
  • Impact Assessment : Regularly assess the potential impact of disruptions on PAI’s IT systems and data.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate the risks to PAI’s IT systems and data, including the development of a business continuity plan (BCP) and disaster recovery plan (DRP).
  • System Redundancy : Implement redundant systems and data backups.
  • Patch Management : Regularly patch your systems and software to keep them up-to-date and secure.
  • User Education : Educate your users about IT security and how to avoid disruptions.
  • Incident Response : Develop a plan for responding to incidents, such as cyberattacks or data breaches.
  • Testing : Regularly test your resilience plans to ensure that they are effective.
  • End-User-Support : Managing and resolving IT-related user requests and incidents.
  • Act as liaison between Petrobras America and Petrobras Brazil HQ Managers and technical specialists.
  • 3. SAP module expertise & Power-BI reporting experience using SAP database

  • SAP Risk Access Management
  • SAP CO
  • SAP MM
  • SAP SD and
  • SAP FI (AP & AR)
  • 4. Desirable E&P management skills

  • Develop E&P databases and visual tools to give management a comprehensive view of production allocation, asset well data, AFEs, financials, and royalties.
  • E&P Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support modeling and compliance reporting for corporate budgeting and other ad-hoc projects
  • ​ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of overall 7 years of relevant experience. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge and experience in :
  • Procurement principles applicable to the oil and industry, including knowledge of commercial practices and contract terms and conditions in different international markets.
  • Purchasing practices and procedures (Direct Award, Competitive Bidding, Market Coverage, and Amendments), ability to employ quality-control tools, familiarity with commercial codes requirements and regulations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT. Candidate must demonstrate capacity in understanding network and AV architectures and operability, management of front and back-end day-to-day support operations, and development of IT strategic plans and procedures.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience. The candidate will lead and mentor a team of 3+ members.
  • SAP expertise and proficiency :
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with SAP S / 4 Hana

  • Ability to customize and execute SAP queries. Experience with SAP user profile management and authorization controls.
  • Software Proficiency :

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 for technical report writing and presentations. Knowledge of a wide range of functions, formulas, and data manipulation techniques (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Slicers, and Macros).
  • Experience in the construction and structuring of intricate spreadsheets designed for the purpose of data analysis and reporting. Ability to build dashboards and charts to visualize data effectively.
  • Experience with data cleansing and transformation techniques in Excel and PowerBI (e.g., Power Query). Familiarity with VBA and DAX programming for automating repetitive tasks.
  • Language Skills :

  • Written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Spanish and Portuguese are desirable.
  • EDUCATION / CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

    Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA desired.
