Position Overview : We are looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team full-time.
You'll work with students to provide occupational therapy services that improve their educational experience and quality of life.
The caseload includes students with autism, cerebral palsy (CP), and developmental delays.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in assessing students' functional abilities.
- Implement treatment plans designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Conduct therapy sessions to enhance students' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and special education staff for coordinated care.
- Educate students, teachers, and families on therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications :
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Arizona.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
