Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and make a positive impact on students.
This position is school-based and will be 3-4 days a week. The rate for this position is $65-$70 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a speech-language pathologist
- Prior experience in diagnosing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Knowledge of assessment and diagnostic techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency in utilizing specialized software and technology related to speech-language pathology
Benefits
This position runs until the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Benefits are unfortunately not included with this position.
