About The Position
Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist Job Specialty : Home Health - Rehab Division Job Duration : 13-Week Assignment Shift : Day - 5x8 - 09 : 00AM - 05 : 00PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Per Week Experience : Experience with Vent / Trach Patients Preferred License : Must be licensed in the state Certifications : None specified Must-Have : Experience with patient coverage in long-term acute care hospital settings Job Description : Provide speech therapy services for patients in a long-term acute care hospital setting.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.- Develop personalized treatment plans to meet the needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress.
- Document all patient interactions and progress notes in the electronic medical record system.- Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach in all interactions.- Wear designated navy blue scrubs during shifts.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and rehabilitation services. Please note that candidates should be ready to start immediately to fill a vacant position and cover patient needs.
