Selectek needs a Mechanical Engineer for a partnering client near Cleveland, Ohio . Candidates will need a strong background in MEP system design for projects both large and small in scale.

Expected Salary Range : $70,000-$100,000 annual salary, depending on experience and background
Location : Cleveland, Ohio
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical system design / coordination
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
- Proficiency in HVAC design
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties :
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to design / engineer mechanical systems
- Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, architects, and other engineers, and recommend necessary changes
- Perform load calculations and feasibility assessments of proposed projects
- Troubleshoot and propose upgrades for existing mechanical systems
- Assist in the management of engineering projects as assigned
- Estimate costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to complete projects
- Conduct project site visits if necessary.
- Research code issues
