Our client is currently seeking a Program / Project Manager 1
Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload Manage a portfolio of complex grid interconnection agreements to SCE’s transmission and distribution systems, from contract execution through termination.
Act as the primary point of contact to external and internal customers on the project and contractual matters. Operates in a project management capacity.
Regularly interacts with customers to provide landmark updates / guidelines, contract interpretation, project updates, etc.
throughout the project lifecycle Leads meetings, develop agendas, summarizes and documents decisions and action items, and tracks project landmarks.
Draft various contractual-related documents, including amendments to existing interconnect agreements, consent to assignments, termination notices, default notices, initial sync notices, and permission to operate notices.
Applies technical and contractual knowledge to solve problems and customer requests and move projects through contract milestones and achieve PTO.
Participates in technical discussions with engineering and project managers. Required Skills / Attributes Five or more years of overall experience in contract or program management.
Experience working with contract regulations and agreements. Desired Skills / Attributes Experience managing or reviewing regulatory agreements / contracts related to FERC and / or CPUC regulatory tariffs.
Bachelor’s Degree. Electric Utility Industry experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
