Head of GBO Financing Operations

- Build and maintain interface with Global Head of Financing Operations (Paris) to ensure strong alignment with global initiatives.
- Responsible to implement and be proactive to propose innovative technologies to modernize Financing activities in order to respond to a changing market while keeping the business activities efficient, effective, and compliant.
Collaborate closely with IT to develop and optimize processes & controls, leveraging technology and leading automation projects.
- Work as a partner with the members of the business by advising on the structure of deals, mainly from an operational point of view, to minimize operational / reputational risks to the Bank.
- Ensure staff oversight and delivery of periodic feedback, performance reviews including annual reviews of direct reports, setting staff objectives, staff training, and career development.
- Strategic planning to ensure the support functions are aligned with the strategic plan of the bank.
- Ensure delegation of work across group and team members, review and re-allocate as necessary.
- Ensure that the activities performed by the group are adhering to the group's procedures.
- Ensure timely completion and evolution of 1.1 and 1.2 controls and reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Financing and Global Trade Front Office, Audit, Compliance, Legal, IT, Credit Department, and other support departments.
- Ensure robust governance of deal covenants, collateral, and insurance.
- Actively participate in New Product Committee reviews and coordinate with staff to address all support needs and identify pre-requisites and conditions.
- Monitor and proactively seek to minimize operational risks.
- Manage governance over internal and external Audits and ensure provision of required information, responses, and timely implementation of recommendations.
- Maintain sound and current policies and procedures to ensure that the controls / support are being performed efficiently, including but not limited to periodic policies and procedure certifications.
- Maintain current understanding of economic, regulatory, legal and competitive issues relative to Financing activities including Basel 2 Eligibility;
RWA; Credit Risk Monitoring.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking or related field with similar organizational complexity.
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance or related field.
- Proven success in leading teams with global exposure, encompassing technology, change management, and regulatory interface.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing diverse teams with varied strengths.
- Experienced in effectively assessing, selecting, and developing talent and providing balanced, direct, and actionable feedback to employees.
- Results-oriented leader who takes the initiative and effectively designs tactical and strategic solutions, through various inputs and analytics to drive decisions and follows through to execution.
- Information technology and Automation knowledge and project management skills.
- Proficiency and knowledge of the systems utilized by the bank is a plus : LoanIQ, Cash Plus, Calypso, and SWIFT.
- Strong knowledge of : Excel, PowerPoint, Word, flow charting software, and low / no code tools.
- Good understanding of financial statements with a level of comfort in calculating and interpreting financial ratios.

The salary range for this position will be between $220,000 - $250,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
