FUNCTION
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all patrons, Team Members, and company assets.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests. Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
- Assist in recruitment process including job posting and recruiting metrics.
- Delegates duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
- Completes and processes performance reviews.
- Assist in development of Team Members, conducts interviews, and participates in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention and termination process.
- Investigate incidents and / or guest complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
- Schedule rotation of officers throughout officer posts.
- Conduct training with officers.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
- May be asked to operate a company vehicle and / or equipment that require a valid Driver’s License.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
- Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalence
- One to Three years of experience as a security guard / law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License
