Responsibilities
- Must be based in the DC Metro Area
- Responsible and accountable for the delivery of compliant and compelling responses to Federal and State government proposals, RFIs, sources sought, and contracts
- Primary POC (direct and / or via account team) for all customer and partner proposal and contract deliverables
- With support from Legal and Finance, supports all partner work including NDA, teaming agreements, and subcontracts
- Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual and proactive review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
- Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc., to internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for documentation and implementation of proposals and contract processes across all internal and external stakeholders
- Identifies and mitigates risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution
- Acts as the primary contact between the project team and / or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly
- Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance
- Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for the engagement
- Actively involved and leads all Contract Management initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance or other related field or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years' government proposal and contract management experience, federal contracting
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) credentials are preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented - attention to detail is crucial in this role.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures with conformance to the prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions received from government entities, employees, managers, clients, and the general public.
