Finance as a Service (FaaS) Service Desk Analyst RSM currently has an opening for a skilled and motivated Service Desk Analyst to join our team and deliver exceptional support and innovative solutions to our Finance as a Service (FaaS) accounting outsourcing practice.

The Service Desk Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of our accounting business applications.

The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Sage Intacct, BILL and other integrated accounting applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of accounting processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

Job Duties and Responsibilities : *Provide first-line support for Sage Intacct, BILL and other FaaS accounting business applications, resolving user issues in a timely manner.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems relating to accounting software, working closely with end-users to identify and resolve issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to second-line support or software vendors as necessary, ensuring timely resolution. *Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Sage Intacct and BILL, including user account management and permissions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides. *Conduct training sessions and create training materials to help end-users and service desk team members effectively utilize FaaS accounting applications.
  • Monitor application performance and work proactively to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact end-users.
  • Stay current with new features and updates for Sage Intacct and BILL, providing recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
  • Monitor trends from reported client cases to isolate potential chronic issues to identify software corruption and / or opportunities to enhance end user training *Participate in ad-hoc projects as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of our support services.
  • Maintain client security levels and confidentiality of information.Qualifications : *Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably supporting accounting or financial applications. *Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  • Prior Administrative experience with Sage Intacctand BILL. *Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Strong analytical skills. *Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications : *Prior experience with other FaaS applications, including Oracle NetSuite, BlackLine, Tallie, QuickBooks Online, BILL Spend and Expense (formerly Divvy), Alteryx, and DataBlend.

2-4 Years Experience *Sage Intacct Certification. *BILL Certification. *Experience with advanced module configuration in Sage Intacct (i.

e. Projects, Dynamic Allocations, Global Consolidation). *Experience with advanced report writing in Sage Intacct. *Experience with ServiceNow Customer Service Management.

Compensation Range : $64,700 - $122,100Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
