Base pay range

$34.50 / hr - $39.00 / hr

What You Will Do : As a Graduate Engineer, you will

Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as City, County and State DOT
Specific tasks that you will perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
You will learn the industry by attending client meetings and taking meeting minutes.

What You Will Bring : The successful candidate must have

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment.

Seeking 1-4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred.

You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably MicroStation.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
