Sunbelt Staffing, a nationwide healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a compassionate and experiencedHome Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position inNewnan, GA.
The successful candidate will join our client, a leading nationwide home health agency, and provide quality patient care in a home-based setting.
Contract Details :
- Location : Newnan, GA
- Company : Sunbelt Staffing
- Contract Length : 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
- Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
- Compensation : Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget
- Mileage Reimbursement : from patient home to home
- Blended Pay Packages : Available for travelers

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with agency standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter care.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.
- Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Travel to patient homes within the Beckley, WV area, using reliable transportation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Adhere to Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
- Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
