About the Role :

Join our dynamic team at Jack Richeson and Company as a Distribution Manager! In this role, you will oversee the Shipping / Receiving and Picking / Packing departments, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with the purchasing department to support our manufacturing and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the Shipping / Receiving and Picking / Packing departments, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to manage inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production.
  • Implement and maintain processes for inventory control and materials management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall logistics and distribution efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements within the distribution center.
  • Develop and lead a team, providing coaching and support to ensure high performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Handle and resolve any issues related to shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.

What You Need :

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and purchasing practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement solutions quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
