Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) - South of Atlanta

Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join our clients team in the Atlanta, GA metro.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient outcomes and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

This role involves assessing patient needs, designing and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices, and providing ongoing support and adjustments.

Responsibilities :

Patient Assessment : Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their specific prosthetic and orthotic needs, considering their medical history, lifestyle, and individual requirements.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather relevant medical information.

• Design and Fabrication : Design and fabricate customized prosthetic and orthotic devices tailored to each patients unique anatomy and functional goals.
• Patient Fitting : Precisely fit prosthetic and orthotic devices to patients, ensuring comfort, functionality, and alignment.

Make necessary adjustments as needed.

• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on the proper use, maintenance, and care of their prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation, adhering to all regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaboration : Work with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuous Learning : Stay current with the latest advancements in prosthetics and orthotics to provide the best possible care to patients.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in prosthetic and orthotic assessment, design, and fabrication.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving the lives of individuals through prosthetic and orthotic solutions.

Licensed or License eligible in the state of GA required
