Hybrid position
The following are the primary job duties andresponsibilities of the staff accountant position.
- Manages theaccounts payable functions which mainly consists of vendors invoiceand payments management regarding the companys financialcommitments.
- Recognizes daily cash transactionsin the general ledger.
- Supports the accountsreceivable functions by registering and sending invoices to clientsthat are not part of the monthlyclose.
- Recognizes and monitors the recurrentexpenses and accruals.
- Performs monthlyreconciliations for expense accrual accounts and the accountspayable aging.
- Assists in some yearly taxprocedures such as the vendor informative (480s) preparation.
- Assists in the yearly audit procedures bycompiling audit evidence for auditors.
- Assistswith other accounting projects as they mayarise.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree inaccounting
- 1 years experience in thefield
- Experience with accounting software; SageIntacct experience is a plus
- Excellentorganizational skills
- Excellent interpersonalskills
