About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of experience required License : Valid State License required at time of submission Certifications : AFM, NRP, BLS (All certifications must be AHA and in hand at the time of submission) Must-Have : Nursery experience, Epic charting experience preferred Job Description : Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the obstetrics unit- Work three 12-hour night shifts per week- Ensure comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and post-partum- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care- Monitor and assess patients’ condition during labor and delivery- Administer medications and manage pain as per medical guidelines- Offer guidance and support to patients and their families throughout their stay- Comply with hospital policies and procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing- Must have a minimum of 50 miles travel distance Other Notes : Return staff policy : Can return after 1 year as a traveler- Background policy : Any background hits or DUIs must be disclosed prior to submission- COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine requirements are unknown at this time
