As a Structural Engineer-In-Training , you will perform routine aspects of structural engineering assignments, gain familiarity with building materials, building components, software programs, and the firm's high-quality design standards. To do this you will :

  • have experience in the production of design documents, specifically of structural systems and building design
  • ensure all drawings are prepared with accuracy and neatness
  • estimate time needed to complete assignments
  • manage time in order to meet project requirements

Minimum requirements for this position include :

  • 2-5 years of experience performing structural design and drafting in a design firm
  • 4-year college degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
  • Knowledge of basic engineering terminology required
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
  • Must be able to work in-office 50% of weekly schedule.

Preferred requirements include :

Civil Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificate

Compensation :

The expected salary range for this role is $28.00 - $35.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
