Job Title : Quality Inspector Renewables / Power
Location : Southern States (various project sites)
Hourly Pay : $40-50 / hr.
Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong background in the renewables or power industry to join our team.
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all project components meet established quality standards and specifications throughout the construction and implementation phases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct inspections on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review project plans and specifications to develop inspection criteria and plans.
- Perform on-site inspections of materials, equipment, and installations to identify any defects or non-conformance.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports, including photographs and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement improvement measures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality-related matters.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during inspections.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in quality inspection or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within the renewables or power industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and regulations related to renewable energy projects.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, as well as software for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to travel to various project sites in the southern states as needed.
