Accounts Payable Specialist

$28 to $30 per hour

LHH is working with a company in a unique industry to identify a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist for them. Your main tasks will be processing invoices and managing vendors. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting and professional communication skills. This position is fully onsite in Seattle, WA but parking is paid for.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests in accordance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries.
  • Prepare electronic payments, checks, and ACH transfers.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
